Passion for shoes and Dolce

"A collection focused on all those women who seek originality and difference." This is how María Teresa Campos defined the philosophy of her own footwear brand, MTC, which she put up for sale in 2017 and perfectly reflected her colorful and unique style.

The journalist from Malaga, who passed away on Tuesday, September 5, felt a true devotion to shoes. Like Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City), María Teresa never got off her heels, especially those signed by Manolo Blahnik, her favorite brand.

This could be seen in the reality show Las Campos that premiered in 2016. In the first episode, Campos showed viewers his spectacular shoe collection. He had more than fifty pairs that will now be inherited by his daughters, Carmen and Terelu. An exclusive shoe rack where there was no shortage of designs by Manolo Blahnik, Prada or Christian Lacroix that María Teresa proudly showed on camera.

His passion for shoes made him dare to launch his firm a year later, which did not achieve the expected success. The different models that were put up for sale stood out for their colorful and cheerful prints, a reflection of what the presenter's character and wardrobe were like.

If there was a brand that had a privileged space in your dressing room, it was Dolce

Campos liked to experiment with fashion. In addition to sharing her passion for shoes with Carrie Bradshaw, they also had in common that fun practice of combining impossible prints to achieve the most explosive outfits.

The journalist dared to wear all types of outfits, from jacket and pant suits to pajamas that are now back in fashion. It was also common to see her with satin shirts and pants that added a special touch to her style both due to its print and details such as lacing. A unique style with which María Teresa exuded a unique and unforgettable personality.
