Myths and truths about the use of sunscreen

In an ideal world imagined by dermatologists, everyone would apply a sunscreen suitable for their skin type before leaving the house. Nothing could be further from the truth. Sunscreen is one of the most important daily care products, yet it suffers the most mistreatment and around which great ignorance revolves. Many people do not use it, especially in winter, or apply it incorrectly due to the myths and false beliefs that exist.

Believing that by using sunscreen the skin does not tan, that it interrupts the synthesis of vitamin D or that by using a higher protection factor you can stay in the sun longer are just some of the lies about this product.

Unfortunately, a whole series of false beliefs and myths have been generated around sunscreen that hinder its correct use for many people.
