Miguel Urdangarin ends his university career

Miguel Urdangarin is the most mysterious character in the Spanish royal family. At 21, the third son of the Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin prefers to go completely unnoticed, while his older brothers continue to gain popularity among public opinion.

It is rare to see him at public events -one of the last being the graduation of his sister, Irene, or the funeral of Constantine of Greece- and he seems to want to focus on his studies. Thus, he has managed to finish his degree, and he is already a marine biologist.

As confirmed by Vanitatis, Miguel Urdangarin finished his baccalaureate at the prestigious international school L'École Internationale de la Route de Chêne de Ginebra, in Geneva, after which he moved to the United Kingdom, where he studied Marine Sciences, a field of the science that studies the seas, oceans and everything related to them, including physical processes, such as currents and tides; the geological and biological.

Three years later, he has achieved his dream and has ended up graduating as a graduate, a title that he will obtain this month of July, between the 24th and 26th, according to the aforementioned portal.

A graduation that will not be customary, with the traditional ceremony with speeches and mortarboards, but Miguel Urdangarin will limit himself to going to the university to collect his degree. For this reason, none of his relatives will travel to the United Kingdom, as they did to celebrate Irene's graduation in Switzerland.

For the moment, Miguel Urdangarin plans to continue his studies and do some kind of specialization (a Master of Science, Master of Science (MSc)), something very typical in the United Kingdom to improve the curriculum and be able to access better jobs. . In addition, he offers himself the opportunity to carry out work practices and collaborate with renowned companies. A full-time Master's usually lasts one year.

Subsequently, the possibility of doing a doctoral program and dedicating yourself to research could be considered. The United Kingdom is one of the best countries in the world in terms of research, so its universities attract students and professors from many countries.

It is unlikely that we will see Miguel Urdangarin in public again, unless his presence is required at some event. The young man seems to be following in the footsteps of his older brother, Juan Valentin, who has always wanted to stay out of the spotlight and the press. Little is known about the lives of both, except that they are very dedicated to their studies and do not spend too much time doing public acts unless it is strictly necessary.

However, the one he most resembles is his brother Pablo. Responsible and with great sensitivity, he has an innate talent for sports -he skis and surfs, as well as sailing-, but also for music. He plays the piano masterfully and, during his years in Switzerland, gave several recitals to which his parents attended as spectators.
