The breakup between Mediaset and La Fábrica de la Tele is causing a lot of talk. A few days ago we learned that the audiovisual group had decided to break ties with the production company after almost twenty years of alliance and numerous television successes. The end of this corporate relationship has had immediate consequences for one of the programs that was still running every weekend on Telecinco: Socialité.
At the beginning of December, several rumors began to emerge claiming that the communication group intended to replace the presenters of the television program, María Patiño and Núria Marín. But this same Friday, after days of speculation and rumors, María Patiño herself confirmed her dismissal through social networks.
''My termination as presenter of 'Socialité' has been published with lightning speed. We are proud that the network continues to support the format and the team. I never considered it a small program and it is clear that it was not, nor will it be. Now begins a wonderful stage. I feel lucky and loved. See you tomorrow,' she stated.
In this way, the presenter will no longer be in charge of the format after more than six years at the foot of the canyon every weekend. But according to Semana magazine, María Patiño will continue in Socialité until the end of the year. It will be then that the audiovisual group makes a 180 degree turn in the social chronicle space.
But María Patiño has not been the only victim of this labor rupture. The co-presenter of Socialité, Núria Marín, also wanted to publish a farewell message to her through social networks, although without confirming her final departure from the program. But from her words, everything seems to indicate that like her partner, she will have to say goodbye to the viewers of the format at the end of the year.
''Friends, lately I have learned so many things. And I am very proud of the path we have traveled. It could be a difficult day, but I just want to say thank you for everything, smile and look to the future," she stated on her Instagram account.
