Mary of Denmark's costume worth more than a thousand euros in her first solo act as Queen

This Monday, Mary of Denmark faced her first solo act as Queen. After a controversial family vacation in Switzerland just a month after her succession to the throne, King Frederick's wife resumed her agenda by attending one of her favorite events, the Elite Research Awards of the Ministry of Education and Research 2024 .

For this official solo engagement, Mary surprised with an impeccable suit with which she made it clear that this is her favorite outfit when it comes to fulfilling her public agenda. However, unlike previous occasions, this time she did not recover clothes from her closet but rather she wore a premiere look.

The monarch opted for a two-piece navy blue suit from the brand The Fold London that has a price of 1,158.74 euros. The jacket was slightly fitted, with lapels, double buttons and pockets, while her pants were straight cut and had a flattering high waist that stylized her silhouette.

She completed the look with some Gianvito Rossi pumps that stood out for their animal print, which has made a strong comeback in 2024, and a clutch in the same blue tone as the Quidam Bags suit. These accessories have been in your closet for a long time.

Another detail that caught a lot of attention was her manicure. Royal protocol, especially British royalty, recommends painting nails in natural colors such as pink or beige and prohibits strident tones. On this occasion, Mary surprised with her nails painted in a vibrant electric blue.

The queen of the Danes thus broke the rules with this look that was finished with pearl jewelry, a necklace with her husband's initial, and makeup with her eyes marked with brown shadows and eyeliner and pink lips.
