Marta Sánchez can boast of having a perfect life to write the script for a Hollywood movie. Her musical successes are already part of the history of music in Spain, but there is little that the artist has revealed about her more personal side.
The singer gives an interview in which she opens up and talks about her most intimate feelings with her great friend, Vicky Martín Berrocal, and makes some confessions that managed to leave the Huelva designer with her mouth open; like, for example, that during her youth there was nothing but crying about topics like sex.
The designer asked her how important sex had been and is, and the singer explained that for women, being young, everything is about emotions, but then it changes. "Sex at 20, 30, 40; it's pure and simple activity, hormones, crying... I always used to cry a lot," confesses the singer, leaving her great friend speechless.
"When there was a special night or a night of great passion, I always ended with a little tear, because I was very passionate," the singer ends by explaining, upon seeing the reaction that her confession provokes in the designer.
Vicky Martín Berrocal, still amazed, could not help but ask if the artist was referring to after the sexual act itself, to which Marta Sánchez answered affirmatively and without any complexes. "Yes, in the act and such. She lived it so much and was so passionate, so sensual and so sensitive," the artist continued explaining, "It was sensitivity, loving a lot. I have always been very fond of movies."
Now, past 50, the artist recognizes that she takes everything much more calmly. The singer reveals that she went through menopause very late, and she didn't "let herself" fall into it. "There are things in your body that you can't avoid, but I don't let my mind fall into menopause. As if it weren't me," she confesses.
Since 2018, the singer has been in a relationship with businessman Federico León. A man about whom hardly any information is known, because he does not want to be part of the public sphere. The businessman, nine years younger than her, has given him the happiness and stability that he was looking for. Last summer, she herself was full of praise for her partner with Sonsoles Ónega, considering herself very lucky to have him in her life.
"Luckily I have a great person close to me, Federico, who is generous and helps me a lot in those moments of decisions. He is with me and always helps me without asking for anything in return. That is truly love," said the singer.
