Mario Vaquerizo has been in the eye of the hurricane for different statements and publications that have ignited social networks in the political sphere. The different shirts of the Spanish Legion and with Francoist slogans have provoked the ire of many fans, to which the singer has responded unceremoniously. But not only have fans been the ones who have put the cry in the sky, but also different television personalities.
It was during an interview this Monday morning, granted on the El Sentido De La Birra podcast, that Vaquerizo was able to answer one of his main detractors: Jorge Javier Vázquez. The leader of Nancys Rubias has responded to the accusations that the Sálvame presenter launched against him, for sharing affinities "with representatives of a party that opposes the achievement of rights and freedoms that have to do with women and the LGTBI collective" .
"Jorge can have his opinion, who am I to say that Jorge Javier does not have an opinion on what he thinks of me at that moment. I respect him, but... Jorge Javier, you don't know me, ”Vaquerizo began during his speech, accusing the Catalan presenter of having a superiority complex. “I respect, but I don't share it. Why have I disappointed you? The disappointment is in you, not in me, ”he reiterated before the podcast microphones.
"I don't care what you think," he responded forcefully. In the same way, the artist spoke about the end of Sálvame, giving Jorge Javier a point in favor for "the important role he has played" in the program. He stressed that the format transformed the television world, but he understood its cancellation: “It has disappeared because we all have to disappear, we cannot perpetuate ourselves. And nothing happens absolutely. It should not be seen as a betrayal."
This was one of the highlights of his speech at El Sentido De La Birra, where he was also able to respond to the criticism received by the shirts that have caused such a stir on social networks. “Who are you to say what shirt a person can wear or not? And that on top of that you ask for the cancellation and that they cancel a concert. I shit on your fucking mother ”, indicated the leader of Nancys Rubias in a bad mood.
“I do not believe in cancellation, I believe in the individual freedom of each one and in the right to express what one feels. I do not seek recognition from others, I seek recognition in myself. But, if they don't like it, don't stop me from continuing to do what I want to do”, explained the artist during the interview. His words have once again generated a stir, mainly in X, where negative reviews have appeared in stages.
