Mario Vaquerizo defends himself from criticism for appearing with a Legion shirt: "They are people who seek to mess up"

The controversy over one of the last photographs of Mario Vaquerizo continues. The singer and television personality posed a few weeks ago at Madrid's Barajas airport dressed in a Spanish Legion shirt, provoking a multitude of criticisms on social networks.

The husband of the also singer Alaska has tried to defend himself against these messages in his various appearances in the media, especially after a tense interview with Sandra Barneda on the Telecinco program Así es la vida. "You know that there are symbols and symbols, and what it means," the presenter clarified to her guest.

One of the last places where Vaquerizo has silenced the controversy has been the podcast El sentido de la birra, presented by the musician Ricardo Moya. "You posted a photo at the airport that you were wearing the Legion shirt and immediately a lot of criticism fell," commented the communicator, to which Mario quickly responded: "And they keep falling, but I'm not going to give up on that ".

"What surprises me is that it attracts attention. [...] I do not do it with any intention, I wear the Legion's Cristo de la Muerte shirt because I love it," he assured, to later send a blunt message to those who have criticized him for it: "The problem is not in me or in the Legion, but in the people who seek to mess up."

The singer has later oriented his presentation to the defense of freedom of expression. "There comes a time when you don't have to keep quiet, because if you keep quiet, you are agreeing with the inquisition, because so many times we have fought to demonstrate ourselves and as we are, and we are asking for rights of free expression or sexual orientation" , he said to defend his argument.

"Hey, I don't know anyone from the Legion, but what happens, that the people who are part of it are sons of bitches? Who are you to say so?" Mario Vaquerizo wondered with a serious face. "Now that is ugly, and I am going to continue doing what comes out of my very pussy because I do nothing to provoke or to transgress," he concluded.
