María Ángeles Grajal, from the April Fair: "I cried in a booth because memories of Jaime come to me"

The April Fair 2024 has started in style in the Andalusian capital. This past Sunday, April 14, Seville's big week kicked off with its traditional 'pescaíto' night and the lighting of the lights on the Fair's façade at the El Real venue. Throughout this week, numerous famous faces of today will come to the city to enjoy a festive atmosphere, where sevillanas and rebujitos will reign.

One of the celebrities who did not want to miss the big week in Seville was María Ángeles Grajal. The widow of the bullfighter Jaime Ostos wanted to put aside her family battles to enjoy the April Fair for a few days. A party that she did not want to miss despite the absence of her husband, with whom she enjoyed this celebration every year.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Sonsoles Ónega program connected live with its reporter Luis García Temprano, who was in the middle of the April Fair about to interview Dr. Grajal. ''What a joy to see you at the Fair. I prefer to see you here and not in Madrid, at the door of my office,'' said Jacobo Ostos' mother.

Likewise, the bullfighter's widow confessed that she was enjoying the fair from the first day and that it was something she used to do with Jaime Ostos. ''We always came for ten days. We did preferia and then fair,' she declared. The one who also did not want to accompany her this year to Seville was her son Jacobo, who was in Milan doing his DJ duties. ''I don't like it at all, but I respect it,'' the doctor said.

Moments later, María Ángeles Grajal opened up before the microphones of Y Ahora Sonsoles and assured that her presence at the April Fair brought back many memories of her marriage to Jaime Ostos. ''I cried in the booth a while ago while I was eating because memories of Jaime came back to me (...) I was used to my husband helping me get dressed and this morning I had to ask the hotel workers for help (...) .) I've also come as a therapy plan to see if I'm encouraged,'' he declared.

Regarding her family conflicts, Jaime Ostos' widow preferred not to comment on the issue and clarified that all legal matters were in the hands of lawyers.
