Manu Sánchez continues his battle against cancer. On May 30, the comedian shared unfortunate news with his followers: he had been diagnosed with cancer in April.
The Andalusian suffered from testicular cancer with metastasis to the lymph nodes, a severe blow that forced him to begin chemotherapy treatment. Now, five months later, Sánchez shares the first image of him after this difficult process.
The comedian has published through his social networks his first image with a shaved head, accompanied by a tender message to his partner and future wife, Lorena Sánchez, to whom he thanks her for her support during this difficult stage.
"SHE... always SHE. The one who never fails. I love you, I need you and boy do I love you. Thank you for not letting go of me! Happy now that the goal is near. For that and much more... Now more than ever ... HER," Sánchez shared.
The Andalusian learned the news of his illness two days before becoming a father for the second time, something that moved his followers: "It is curable in a high percentage" said the comedian at that time.
Two months later, Sánchez shelved chemotherapy: "Today is a great day. The road is hard, very hard... but it is worth it. Today a stage ends. A new beginning is coming. We are getting there. Thanks to those Don't let me go," said the comedian, who has maintained a positive attitude throughout the process. The couple, who already have two children together, will go down the aisle in the coming months.
