Luis Lorenzo's first words after the forensic report that would exonerate the actor for poisoning his aunt: "This can happen to anyone who takes an old man home"

Luis Lorenzo has become the undisputed protagonist of today's news on Thursday. The actor and his wife, Arancha Palomino, were accused a year ago of allegedly murdering María Isabel Suárez, Palomino's aunt. The 85-year-old woman died in the house that the couple has in Arganda del Rey, in Madrid, on June 28, 2021.

The person in charge of reporting this fact to the authorities was one of the deceased's brothers, who accused the couple of having poisoned the 85-year-old woman. The actor and his wife defended their innocence at all times and today new information related to the case has come to light, which has taken a 180-degree turn.

The definitive forensic report of the investigation has been revealed, and it states that high concentrations of cadmium and manganese had been detected in the body of the deceased Isabel Suárez and could be due to "postmortem diffusion phenomena", which would mean that no died poisoned.

After this great revelation, the protagonist of the case, Luis Lorenzo, wanted to give his first interview since the facts came to light. The actor has been chatting with Sandra Barneda in the new Telecinco program, Así es la vida.

The presenter thanked the interpreter for having accepted the invitation. "Finally last night I have been able to sleep in a long time, after suffering a mockery, a coven, a brutality on the part of the media cornering and part of the investigation that has done irreparable damage to this family," said the guest. ''I feel as if I had lost 100 thousand kilos of weight, it is true that the report is very enlightening,'' he stressed.

"We are being investigated, not accused of anything because we have not gone to trial," said Lorenzo. ''This report gives us peace of mind and confirms what my wife and I have said from the beginning, we are innocent. They rule out that there has been any type of intoxication or mistreatment,'' he assured. "Let's remember, Sandra, this can happen to anyone who takes a sick family member home," confessed Luis Lorenzo.
