Apparently Roca's father invited his children to the opera, but not the "additional" ones, referring to the partners of each son.
“My brothers' additions stayed in their places and he (Juan del Val) was in Madrid,” but even so he could not attend. However, not only was he not invited, but Juan del Val could not sleep at his house because he had to give up the space to her family. “They kicked me out of my house. “It is not a good image for my own children,” he explained.
