This Wednesday, Telecinco broadcast a new installment of Desnudas por la vida, the new reality show presented by Jesús Vázquez, where well-known participants have to learn a choreography and get naked in front of an audience. If last week, it was the boys' turn, this time it was the girls' turn. Although it's not all music and fun.
Jesús Vázquez became the protagonist during a meeting of the participants with his dance teacher when remembering his childhood, and more specifically his mother. So much so, that the presenter could not hold back his tears and began to cry uncontrollably. A moving image that warmed the hearts of the followers of this new television format.
It all happened when the Desnudas por la vida choreography teacher, Sonia Dorado, asked the contestants to bring a photo from their childhood, as a way to get to know them better and to evoke those first memories as children. A request that was also conveyed to the format's presenter, Jesús Vázquez.
“I told my husband to send me one but it's barely visible... And the one he sent me is... well come on,” Vázquez began by saying, visibly excited. “It's a photo with my mother,” he added, almost without being able to articulate a word. Then, the contestants wanted to know where they were and the presenter pointed to “Galicia, when we were very little.”
Then, Vázquez broke down and started crying: “I can't talk about this, really.” Despite the emotion of the moment, the contestants tried to console him and this was when the presenter decided to sing a few more words. “No, but now I do want to talk about it,” he said.
“When you lose someone you love it is very difficult to get over it and my mother died many years ago. I always think I'm over it and when I see a photo of her, I miss her more every day. “It's something that never goes away…” she said through tears.
Finally, Vázquez highlighted that one of the things that makes him most angry is that his mother has not had the opportunity to see “how happy I am or that she has not met Roberto.” Here Anabel Pantoja tried to console him by assuring that she had met him because she was seeing him.
"Okay, that's it, that's it...", the presenter concluded by raising his arms and ending the emotional moment. Of course, he did not escape a collective hug from all the contestants for sharing that beautiful moment with them.
