Iran censors Georgina Rodríguez's butt in her last family appearance

In 2016, Georgina Rodríguez would never have thought that her life could be the way it is now. The model's life changed when she met Cristiano Ronaldo, her great love and father of her children. Since then, Jaca has become one of the most followed and admired women on the planet, equating her popularity to that of global stars like the Kardashian sisters. The couple forms one of the most consolidated relationships on the current celebrity scene and through social networks they let us see what their family life is like, full of luxuries. In the last few hours, a family photo of the couple has been censored in the Iranian regime's press.

The events would have occurred after the influencer and the soccer player shared a family photograph, in which the businesswoman can be seen wearing a tight black dress that shows her curves and her butt. However, in the image shared by the Iranian media, there is no trace of that part of her body. These are images published by the Iranian regime's Hamshahri newspaper. Her figure has been photoshopped, leaving no trace of her enviable physique.

"Georgina will be very upset. She works hard for her body and is very proud of her curves," a source close to the influencer reportedly told the British newspaper The Sun. It was the Belgian parliamentarian Darya Safai who detected the digital manipulation. "An example of how sick Islamists are when it comes to the female body. This is exactly how sick Islamists look at women. That's why they prefer to make them invisible under a veil or chador," she expressed.

On the other hand, the British-Iranian actor Omid Djalili also spoke out on this matter. "Showing so little respect for women by publicly disfiguring them speaks volumes," he said. For the moment, the Iranian newspaper has not commented on the matter. But the truth is that this situation is nothing new, and it has already happened in the past with other influential women, such as prominent artists on the global music scene.

An Iranian music streaming website removes all female singers from its own covers. This would be due to the restrictions on women's free expression, included in Islamic law. The artists disappear from the covers of their own albums, as if they did not exist. Some of the artists who have suffered this censorship are Rosalía, Taylor Swift or Lady Gaga, among many others. On the other hand, we must not forget that in 2016 several models in the country were arrested for attacking the morals of Iran by publishing "indecent" photos on the popular social network Instagram. The mistake they made then was not wearing the veil properly.

It was a year ago when Georgina moved with Cristiano and the rest of her family to Saudi Arabia, a country with demands similar to those of Iran in terms of the figure of women. Since then, the model has followed Muslim customs, and in her public appearances in the country she has always remained discreet. It should be remembered that the rules there are very strict: women have to wear a veil and loose clothing that covers everything except their hands and face, otherwise they could face up to ten years in prison. Now this culture has turned against her.
