How to make up your eyes if you have drooping eyelids

In the daily task of putting on makeup, there are numerous tricks with which to hide certain features of the face with which we are not very happy. They can be thin lips, too short eyelashes or droopy eyelids. We are going to focus on this last aspect and give you some essential tricks to make up your eyes if you have droopy eyelids.

The first thing to keep in mind is that the skin of the eyelids is very sensitive and requires special care. To optimally prepare your eyes for makeup, it is essential to have a good primer to help the shadows adhere better and last longer. It is also convenient to apply a concealer under the eyes to hide the always irritating dark circles and unify the skin tone.

Later, we are going to use neutral and matte tones for the eye shadow. In this way, we give depth to the look without having to add more 'weight' to the eyelids. One very important thing: avoid using shiny or glittery shadows, as this can cause the opposite effect and make your eyelids appear more droopy than normal. Also, make sure to blend the shadow well so that unwanted creases do not accumulate and can cause strange effects.

Now, we are going to create the illusion that the eyelid is bigger and more raised. To do this, we are going to use an eyeliner to draw a fine line on the upper lashes. Then, we blur the line to create a much more natural and soft effect. You can also use a white eyeliner on the waterline to make your eyes appear larger.

Finally, you can apply a mascara to open up your eyes even more and make them look much more defined. Don't forget to use a waterproof formula mascara to prevent it from spoiling throughout the day.

For this trick you need two brushes, one flat and small and one thicker. For makeup you will need a light concealer with an illuminating effect and a dark one for counting.

The trick is the following: draw some lines at the end of the eye, just in the area where you want them to look raised. Draw a triangle: the sides of it will be dark and the center will be light. The three lines mark the line that goes up the eye: you will have to blend them so that the skin color remains homogeneous.
