How to instantly remove stains from any upholstery

Sometimes you find the stain there, just like that, suddenly, without having any idea when or how it could have happened. And other times you witness it right at the moment when the disaster occurs with the helplessness of not having been able to do anything to remedy it. The fact is that, sooner or later, that dreaded day ends up coming: a stain on the upholstery. Cleaning this type of accident is already somewhat annoying, but it is even more so if it turns out that the upholstered piece in question cannot be removed or is too large for the washing machine. Luckily, there are ways to remove all types of stains, and this will not be an exception.

Before giving it up as lost, it is always worth making an attempt to get rid of it. The only thing to keep in mind is which is the best method depending on the type of stain in question. In many cases, the solution is much simpler and more effective than one might imagine at first. Even without the need to use products that are too aggressive or toxic.

Although it may not seem like it, many stains can be removed from upholstery just by using a cloth moistened with water. Of course, as long as you act as soon as possible, the fresher the stain is, the easier it will always be to get rid of it. But this is not always the case, sometimes you have to deal with other types of stains that are much more stubborn and with which you have to take a little more effort.

Luckily there is a method capable of removing most of the stains that can occur on upholstery. From vomit or blood to chocolate or red wine, even pen ink, among others. That is, those that are really worrying and that will seem like tough rivals. The secret is in a single ingredient: baking soda.

The only thing you have to do is take the baking soda and apply it by sprinkling it over the area where the stain you want to remove is located. Next, you just have to rub it with a slightly damp and soft cloth or sponge, this is especially important so that the upholstery is not damaged. Next, let it sit for a few minutes for it to take effect. You will know it is ready when the baking soda has completely dried.

At that time, the last step will be to vacuum up the remaining baking soda and arm yourself with a brush to completely remove any traces of this product. And voila, the stain will have disappeared.
