"Granddaughter of an important motor businessman": who is Laura, Daniel Sancho's girlfriend?

More than a month after the atrocious murder of Edwin Arrieta at the hands of Daniel Sancho became known, the case continues to be one of the main topics of the media. Furthermore, new information continues to come to light day after day about this high-profile crime, which has gone around the world.

Since then, Rodolfo Sancho's son remains in Koh Samui prison waiting for the trial to take place. The Thai police are about to deliver the case report to the Prosecutor's Office, so that a date can be set for the long-awaited trial.

But until then, new data emerges around the figure of the Spanish chef. This same Thursday we learned the identity of one of the people closest to Rodolfo Sancho's son and about whom little information had been revealed until now. This is Laura, the person who was in a relationship with Daniel Sancho at the time he committed the murder.

Those in charge of revealing all the data have been Beatriz Córtazar and Nacho Gay. The collaborators of And now Sonsoles have given all the details of this mysterious woman, whose identity has been sought for months. ''Laura is a 28-year-old girl. She is the daughter and granddaughter of a very important figure in the automotive world in Spain. They called him the Amancio Ortega of the motor. Her grandfather started out as a car salesman and then built an empire,' she began by saying.

The businessman died years ago and had three children. One of them died at the young age of 15, leaving him with two children. ''His daughter is Laura's mother. Laura lost her father when she was four years old and her mother was left to care for her and a two-year-old child. Her mother has not remarried. Therefore, Laura has grown up with her brother and her mother and very close to her uncle and her grandfather,' she said.

The journalist revealed that going through the altar was one of Sancho and Laura's plans. ''They were going to have an exotic wedding, but also a real wedding in Spain. Sancho was going to give a 'fly', she pointed out. Cortázar confessed that it had been very difficult to find information about the family, since they were very discreet. ''They don't brag about anything,'' he added. ''When Sancho is arrested, his girlfriend wants to travel to the island to see him, but her family forbids it and since then they have made efforts to ensure that she does not see him,'' he stated.

For his part, Nacho Gay revealed the woman's whereabouts. ''She lived in Madrid, in a family house, in the Chamartín area. "Daniel was one of the family," he confessed. When the press finds the home, they decide to protect themselves from it and design a campaign to protect Laura.

''They take her outside of Madrid, specifically to Navacerrada. There she is, she continues to telework as a salesperson in a family business,' declared the journalist. ''From that house, Daniel Sancho, while in prison, has communicated with her. "He wrote it giving her his version of the events and he wanted her forgiveness," he confirmed.
