Genoveva Casanova's drastic decision after the coronation of Frederick X of Denmark

Almost three months ago, the magazine dedicated to journalism of the heart Lecturas published a series of photographs that showed that the then Prince Frederick of Denmark had enjoyed a nice day in the Madrid capital with the businesswoman Genoveva Casanova and that he had spent the night at the residence of Cayetano Martínez de Irujo's ex.

These images gave a lot to talk about, since the Dane has been married to Mary Donaldson for more than 19 years and had not officially notified of his visit to our territory. When the snapshots were made public, Casanova explained that they are simply friends: ''I want to make it very clear that I have no relationship with him, as is being said. We are friends and the photos prove nothing. Except for those who want to distort the images and see where there are none. We have mutual friends and I am not going to tell who my friends are.''

Although she tried to nip the rumors and gossip in the bud, the woman decided to go into hiding to avoid suffering first-hand the persecution of the media, which intensified with the news of the abdication of Queen Margaret and the coronation of Frederick as King of Denmark.

During the Danish monarchical event, Genoveva kept her profile discreet and remained silent, although she did share a video in the stories of her official Instagram account. Said audiovisual piece said the following: ''I want to live a great life. I want to experience everything. I want to break every single rule there is. They say ambition is not an attractive trait in a woman. Maybe, but what is attractive? Wait for something to happen? (...)''.

Shortly after, journalist Beatriz Cortázar revealed in Y Ahora, Sonsoles that she had been able to exchange messages with Casanova and that she is completely isolated. ''I'm trying to disconnect and I don't talk to anyone about anything at all, even though some say otherwise,'' the socialite reportedly expressed.

Days after publishing the video and speaking with Cortazar, the businesswoman has made a decision that has caused a lot of talk: delete her Instagram account. At the moment it is unknown if she has suspended the profile or permanently deleted it, but there is no longer a trace of it on the platform.

The businesswoman would have made the decision to disappear from social networks after seeing how the media continues to talk about her and the alleged romance she shares with the Danish monarch, something that, without a doubt, is taking its toll on her.
