The most important day of the year for content creators has finally arrived. Tonight, the third edition of the Ídolo Awards is being held at the Gran Teatro Príncipe Pío in Madrid. The awards, which were created by influencer Aida Domenech (Dulceida), recognize the great work that content creators do in different areas of social networks.
Under the Red Paradise theme, inspired by Paris in the 1900s, many of the most popular faces in the world of the internet will walk the awards red carpet wearing their best clothes. The ceremony, which will begin at 9:00 p.m., can be followed through Movistar and Cristinini's Twitch channel.
However, the awards founded by the influencer Dulceida have always been in the spotlight, since since their inception, two years ago, there have been many controversies that have arisen as a result of the award ceremony. And this third edition was not going to be different from the others.
The content creator Estela Grande published a video on her TikTok profile in which she commented, hours before the start of the gala, the main reason why she was not going to attend the photocall. ''This year I was not very motivated because I came from a trip into which I have put all my energy. Also, I'm not accredited to go to the photocall, so that makes you a bit down," she began by saying.
Of course, the influencer made it clear that her attendance at the awards was more than confirmed. ''I'm going to support my sector, but not letting you get your full potential makes you demotivated,'' she stressed. ''I guess they have to make a filter, like they do every year, and for x reasons they have considered that I meet the sufficient or necessary standards to go through the photocall,'' she declared.
However, the content creator was against that opinion. ''I have enough presence in the media to do a photocall and I think my outfits are always up to par. Furthermore, last year I came out in the top of the best dressed without going through the photocall. It's not arrogance, I just think that when I do a job well it's good for it to be recognized,' she said.
Regarding her look, Estela Grande assured that she was going to wear a "normal" style, but different. ''People who have seen it have said 'how cool it is.'' But since I'm not very motivated, I don't look very good. Even so, I'm going to show it to you online so you can see it and give your opinion,' she acknowledged. ''Even if it's not going to go down the carpet, I'm going to continue making content,'' she concluded.
