Father Ángel sends a clear message to Rodolfo Sancho: "Whatever he has done..."

Two months have passed since Daniel Sancho confessed to having murdered and dismembered the Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta in Thailand. Since then, he remains in Koh Samui prison awaiting the trial and forging his defense strategy.

A case that has generated numerous headlines due to the amount of information that emerges daily. In the last few hours, a report has come to light that would rule out the aggravating circumstance that could avoid the death penalty for the accused. And the Thai police initially assured that they would request the capital punishment for Rodolfo Sancho's son.

After the death of the surgeon, many have wanted to comment on this news that has shocked Spanish and Colombian society. Among them, now it has been Father Ángel who wanted to give his opinion on the matter. The priest, who knows Rodolfo Sancho and his family very well, has not hesitated to send him advice.

"You always have to be close to your children, whatever it may be. Always have the father or mother in front of you when we sometimes miss them in problems," he began to relate before the Europa Press microphone. And she is clear that no matter how badly a child has behaved, a father and mother should always show their support.

"Parents must always be close to their children, wherever they are, however they are, whatever they have done, without a doubt, I believe that parents must do this," he stated forcefully. As she has said, this is what anyone would want: to receive the love of their parents.

A piece of advice that seems to have been clear to Rodolfo Sancho from day one. And the actor is doing everything possible to find a good defense for his son. Just a few hours ago he issued a new statement, through his lawyers, to deny that the lawyer Khun Anan, Daniel Sancho's former lawyer, had given an interview for Semana magazine, as published.

Likewise, the statement ensures that when the time comes, a Thai lawyer will join the case in defense of the accused. Furthermore, he wanted to make the Prosecutor's decision clear: "On the 5th, Mr. Daniel Sancho Bronchalo had an appearance in the court of Koh Samui where he was informed that it had been extended for another twelve days, at the request of the "Prosecutor, provisional prison."

"The Prosecutor is examining the file, the case involved the interrogation of approximately 19 witnesses, and there were many documents, approximately 40 objects and many seized in some areas," said Naron Srirasan, spokesperson for the Thai Attorney General's Office for the TardeAR program.
