Eva Carreño, who was Carmina Ordóñez's best friend, is still traumatized by her death

Last July 23 marked 19 years since the death of one of the most famous women in the history of our country: Carmina Ordóñez. She was the daughter of the bullfighter Antonio Ordóñez and first cousin of the singer Miguel Bosé. She had three children: Fran and Cayetano Rivera, the result of her marriage to Paquirri, and Julián Contreras, who was born from her relationship with Julián Contreras.

The person who found the lifeless body of the socialite was Eva Carreño, one of her best friends. On the occasion of the anniversary of her death a few weeks ago, Carreño dedicated a post to her on her Instagram account in which he explained that he has not forgotten her and that he keeps her very present every day. her day

''Only those who are forgotten die (...) I keep your things as if they were a treasure. Your appointment books, your notes with song lyrics... your toiletry bag, your perfume, your clothes (...) Dear friend, I always think of you,' she wrote as a tribute.

Today, Eva Carreño is able to look back and fondly remember all the moments she lived with her friend. However, she had to deal for a long time with the weight of having found her body, something that greatly affected her health.

After many years of silence (with the occasional intervention in programs like Sálvame), Carreño has spoken with Pronto magazine. In this conversation, the woman opened up and said that, to this day, she continues to be traumatized by the situation she experienced when she found her friend dead next to the bathtub in her house: ''When I see a movie related to a bath and with water I get sick."

Due to this episode and various problems, Carreño went to a psychiatrist, who prescribed a series of pills that caused a serious heart problem. Due to the consequences of her medication, the woman brushed death with the tips of her fingers.

''I had no strength, I couldn't walk, I spent three years bedridden,'' the woman explained, indicating that her heart was not pumping well due to severe cardiomyopathy that worried her family for years.

Thanks to having a defibrillator implanted, the woman who was a friend of Fran Rivera's mother has been able to recover her routine: ''It's as if I had been resurrected (...) I can walk and live a normal life. It is a miracle''.
