Emotional message of love from Jesús Vázquez to Roberto Cortés before the Pride parade: "There is no greater force"

On the eve of the LGTBIQ Pride parade in Madrid, Jesús Vázquez has shared on Instagram an emotional message of love addressed to her husband Roberto Cortés. On the occasion of the festivities, the Galician presenter has recalled the day they met, 22 years ago, on a night similar to this one.

"Tomorrow is the LGTBIQ Pride parade, it was the night before, a night like today, when we met dancing. Ours was a crush, love at first sight. Today, 22 years later, you are still here, by my side. You are my husband, and I yours, and together we form a wonderful family full of love. There is no greater force than that in the universe," the presenter of ¡Allá tú! in an emotional dedication accompanied by an old photo of his partner.

The Telecinco presenter has always been a strong defender and activist of LGBTQ rights, using his fame as a public figure to promote equality and acceptance. His marriage to Roberto Cortés is a clear example of a happy and successful relationship in the LGBTQ community, helping to break stereotypes and contributing to the normalization, for decades, of same-sex relationships in Spanish society.

As it was for Vázquez and Cortés in its day, the day of July 1 promises to be an unforgettable spectacle. The streets of Madrid will be filled with color and diversity in the annual celebration of the LGTBIQ Pride Parade. This event, one of the most anticipated by citizens, puts the finishing touch to a week of activities and celebrations for the International Day of this group, which is commemorated every June 28.

The parade will begin at the Atocha Station, in the Carlos V roundabout, and will continue along the Paseo del Prado, passing through the emblematic Cibeles Fountain, until it reaches the Paseo de Recoletos. A large influx of people is expected, all united under the rainbow of diversity and inclusion, celebrating love and equality, and remembering the importance of the fight for LGTBIQ rights.
