Controversy on TVE when Silvia Intxaurrondo cut off a PP leader for using "thick expressions" in the middle of an interview

The investiture debate is taking place this Tuesday in the Congress of Deputies and there are several programs that want to address this important issue. Alberto Núñez Feijóo has used his almost two-hour speech to try to convince those present that he deserves to be the next president.

Despite having won the elections, the leader of the Populares seems to have his presidency far away as he has not found sufficient agreements for the investiture. Something that Pedro Sánchez could achieve in the future. Given this, there have been many politicians who have wanted to speak and express their opinion openly on the subject.

One of the political personalities who wanted to go on a television program to defend Feijóo was Miguel Tellado, Deputy Secretary General of Organization of the Popular Party. The leader connected with La Hora de La 1 and got a fight from the presenter.

What the "spirit of candidate Feijóo" was going to be, has been one of the questions that has been asked of Tellado. Something to which he has not hesitated to answer, blaming Pedro Sánchez for the possible failure of the PP candidate. Something that Silvia Intxaurrondo wanted to counterargument by ensuring that the Galician does not have enough votes.

"We are missing four votes and we have plenty of dignity," answered Miguel Tellado. Likewise, he wanted to make it clear that the Socialist Party has "no scruples, principles, or values." With this, he also wanted to ensure that it should be Pedro Sánchez who "should let whoever he has won govern."

But everything has exploded into the air due to a statement by Tellado about the acting President of the Government. “Pedro Sánchez is willing to prostitute, pay close attention to the word he uses, to prostitute democracy and our Constitution in order to satisfy his ego and his own navel,” he stated emphatically.

Faced with these last words, Silvia Intxaurrondo could not remain silent. "I am going to ask that we not use crude expressions when referring to democratic rules in order to continue carrying out this interview," the presenter wanted to make clear. “What is happening in our country is very serious,” the politician replied.

"We talk about everything, we are delighted, but with expressions that do not include thick language," the journalist continued. "I'm sorry that you don't like my expressions. What I'm saying is that the acting president of the Government is attacking our democracy," the leader continued.
