Controversy at Enrique Iglesias' last concert for singing in a dancer's crotch

Julio Iglesias' family has taken important steps in the world of music, leaving its mark both on the Spanish and international scene. The youngest of the three brothers, Enrique Iglesias, built a renowned career that had its peak at the beginning of the last decade, while the middle one, Julio Iglesias Jr., has combined his musical passion with multiple stages.

Both were present at one of the concerts that Enrique held at the Kaseya Center in Miami this past weekend. He did it accompanied by two other high-profile artists, with whom he makes up The Trilogy Tour: Pitbull and Ricky Martin. However, it was not the full capacity of the pavilion that attracted the most attention of the evening. It was an unusual moment, when the Madrid artist sang between the legs of a dancer.

While one of those in charge of the choreography sang to the audience, sitting on a chair in the middle of the stage, Enrique remained crouched, with his face hidden between the woman's crotch, taking over the microphone and continuing with the song. An image much commented on in Let's See More, the second part of Telecinco's morning show presented by Joaquín Prat. One of the first reactions was a comparison with Aitana and the controversy that surrounded her dances.

Manu del Valle analyzed the situation and the rise of erotic moments in concerts, launching an on-air comparison with Madonna. The Queen of Pop recently starred in another couple of risqué moments with Spanish figures: Jon Kortajarena and Úrsula Corberó. In the first instance, several scantily clad dancers danced sensually alongside both of them, a situation that would be repeated with the actress in Barcelona.

Adriana Dorronsoro considered that racy shows were the order of the day for some time now, while Joaquín Prat highlighted Miley Cyrus' image change when she stopped being Hannah Montana. Alexia Rivas believed that the only thing Aitana did at the time was “dance like Shakira did before,” while Antonio Rossi accused his colleagues of having a dirty mind for interpreting a sexual gesture in that scene.

Despite the comments, Iglesias has not been ashamed to praise legs as a part of the body that attracts him. “I love legs. I also like women with a sense of humor, I find them very sexy. I don't like too serious girls at all. I mean girls who are capable of laughing at stupid and immature things, because I often say them,” he highlighted in an interview for BANG Showbiz in 2014.
