Called a demonstration to protest the cancellation of 'Save me'

On Friday, May 5, we learned the news that Mediaset had decided to end the program that has been in charge of Telecinco's afternoons for more than 14 years. A decision that caught all the followers of the program by surprise and even the protagonists themselves, who did not expect their program to have less than two months to live.

The new board of directors of the audiovisual group has been making decisions about the new image they want to show of the company for several months, and they have even banned some of the best-known faces in its history. A drastic decision that the fans of the Jorge Javier Vázquez program have not taken very well and are already planning to hold a demonstration to stop the cancellation.

Although the decision of the end of Sálvame is going to leave all its collaborators without work for the moment, the program has begun its broadcast on Monday with its well-known touch of humor and they have shown that they are getting the most out of the news of their goodbye. And it is that the program's labor advisor appeared live, who has been advising all collaborators on how to update their curriculum vitae.

Despite this humorous tone, the followers of the program do not see well that the space ends this coming month of June and they have already begun to mobilize to try to stop the decision of the new Mediaset board of directors.

The latest news confirms that Jorge Javier Vázquez's program will officially say goodbye in June. After the summer it will be Ana Rosa Quintana and her producer who will take charge of the evenings with a new current affairs format. But until that happens, the followers of the social chronicle space have called a demonstration in the same month of June.

The chosen day will be next Thursday June 1 at the studios of the audiovisual group in Madrid. Event organizers ask attendees to bring yellow banners and balloons, as these are the colors that represent the program. ''Save me is more than a family. Save me is freedom and vindication. Save me gets into our homes every afternoon to make us smile and escape our sadness,'' they wrote vindictively. All this accompanied by the hashtag
