Neymar and model Bruna Biancardi are celebrating. Last week, the couple welcomed Mavie, their first daughter together, who came into the world in a Brazilian hospital while Neymar was in Saudi Arabia for a work commitment.
The Al Hilal player confirmed the news of the birth in an Instagram post, where he wrote a tender welcome message to Mavie. However, Neymar has received a barrage of criticism after missing the birth, one of the most important moments in the life of any father.
Given the criticism, the influencer has been forced to explain the reason why Neymar could not be present at the birth. Bruna has told it through her Instagram stories, where she has thrown a dart at the father of her daughter.
"In the delivery room it was a friend who accompanied me, because the father was on the flight on the way to Brazil," Bruna began by explaining. And he continued: "The father tried, but he couldn't arrive in time for the birth (because he wasn't in Brazil). Even so, he was present at all times. And then he made up for all the lost time and was close to Mavie all the time. And Mavie to him too," he pointed out along with a tender photograph of the three.
The birth was also attended by Davi Luca, Neymar Jr.'s eldest son, the result of his previous relationship with Carolina Dantas. Bruna wanted to thank this gesture publicly: "Davi is too special and she is very lucky to be his sister. He helped in the bathroom, giving me water, he slept with her...".
Although they are experiencing a unique moment, the truth is that the couple has suffered a series of setbacks in recent months. Controversies, rumors and infidelities have marked this pregnancy, leading Bruna to express her disappointment online.
