Britney Spears is clear: she will never return to the music industry

Britney Spears is one of the most well-known artists of all time. The Toxic performer has started 2024 with more than 48 million monthly listeners, despite being away from the world of music for years. Her personal problems caused the singer to have to put her career aside to focus on her recovery.

Little by little he is putting his life back in order after he managed to wrest control of his guardianship from his father, and, therefore, no one in his family can decide how he should act. Something that happened for years and that kept the artist going to psychiatric centers against her will for a time.

After returning to being the usual Britney, or at least trying to be, there have been many who have speculated about a possible return of the American to music. And for some time now a possible new album by the singer of ...Baby One More Time has been on the table.

However, this, which would be his tenth studio album, seems to never see the light of day. And she herself has taken it upon herself to put an end to all the rumors on her Instagram account. To begin with, she wanted to make it clear that, for her, "all the news is garbage."

And it bothers him, a lot, that it is said that he is "turning to random people" to compose his new album. Something that he is clear will never happen: "I will never return to the music industry!" It seems that Britney Spears ended up very unhappy with her experience and in this new opportunity in her life she wants to do things differently.

But that doesn't mean she's not immersed in songwriting. The singer has pointed out that she writes "for fun" or for other people's topics. "I've written over 20 songs for other people in the last two years!!!," she said.

Although being on the front lines ended up causing numerous problems in his life, he doesn't want it to happen again. For this reason, although he doesn't plan to distance himself from her passion, he prefers to do it in the shadows: "I'm a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way!"

This definitively puts an end to speculation. The Page Six portal went further and published a list of singers who would be present on this already discarded album. Charlie XCX or Julia Michaels were some of these names. However, it seems that these collaborations will never see the light of day, or at least not on an album.
