MasterChef Celebrity 8 is approaching its end. This Thursday, the culinary program celebrated the semifinal after a week of hiatus due to the broadcast of the Latin Grammys last Thursday. This new episode allowed viewers to meet the finalists of the contest. In addition, it was also possible to learn about the expulsion of Blanca Romero, who was surpassed in an elimination test dedicated to baking. Precisely there, the actress revealed that she did not know that the final prize of the contest would not be for them, but would be donated.
Blanca Romero will not be able to be the next winner of MasterChef Celebrity. The renowned actress will not be able to take the symbolic trophy: culinary training, and the 75,000 euros that must be allocated to an NGO. Regarding that money, the contestant has now confessed that she did not imagine that this prize would be donated, but that she hoped it would go to the winning contestant. That's how she revealed it in the middle of an outdoor test.
During the test, Toñi Moreno spoke with Blanca about that highly desired award, leaving the actress totally disconcerted. "At the door of the final, you find out that the 75,000 euros of the prize are not for us," Toñi expressed then, to which Blanca responded: "I was about to open oysters with my teeth for that 75,000 euros." A very fun scene that has not left viewers indifferent.
It was then that Lucía Rivera's mother said that this confusion had occurred because the clause in the contract had not been read correctly. By her own admission, if she had known, she would have changed her attitude, being more restrained. "If I had known that this award was not going to be for me, I would have worked the same and I would have screwed up the same times, but I would not have given the crazy image that I have given. Then, I would have kept my composure a little more ", expressed the Physics or Chemistry actress.

Although she will no longer be able to compete for the final prize of MasterChef Celebrity, Romero confessed that, if she had continued, she would have donated it to an association against cancer. If Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, Toñi Moreno, Daniel Illescas and Laura Londoño, who are already finalists of the renowned reality show, will have the opportunity to do so.
