Arancha del Sol, first confirmed contestant of 'Survivors 2024'

The countdown to the premiere of Survivors 2024 begins and Mediaset is already beginning to promote what is said to be one of the most extreme editions in recent years. Since Bosco Martínez-Bordiú raised his check for 200,000 euros in the 2023 final, many have been eagerly awaiting more details of the new edition.

For the moment, it is confirmed that Jorge Javier Vázquez will once again lead the galas that Raúl Prieto will direct; while Laura Madrueño will be in charge of connections from Honduras for another year. Predictably, Carlos Sobera will return to the front of Tierra de Nadie and, as a novelty, Sandra Barneda returns to the format in charge of the debates in Conexión Honduras - thus confirming the departure of Ion Aramendi.

The list of contestants begins to be revealed and today in TardeAR they have given one of the first names: it is official, Arancha del Sol is a contestant in the new edition of the adventure reality show. The legendary presenter became known during the first stage of Telecinco, in the nineties. Now, she is more than ready to embark on this new adventure.

''Many of you will be surprised to see me here, but I love facing new challenges and I believe that there is no more important, harder and difficult challenge than Survivors. See you in Honduras,' were his first statements.

This is just one of the long list of contestants who will participate in Survivientes 2024, although there is speculation about many names that, if confirmed, would give a lot to talk about in Honduras.

Characters like Aurah Ruiz, who was about to sign two years ago; the presenter Arantxa del Sol, married to Finito de Córdoba, are two of the names that are most likely to be confirmed. Also Zayra Gutiérrez, daughter of Arancha de Benito and José María Gutiérrez "Guti"; or collaborators like Carmen Borrego, of whom it is said that she could sign a contract of up to 17,000 euros for each week that she remains in the contest.

The date on which this new edition will start is unknown - everything depends on the final of Big Brother Duo, still on broadcast - although its premiere is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The 2023 edition began on March 2 and if the nomination calendar in GH Duo continues its course, the first week of next month could see the premiere of this new adventure.
