Antonio Hidalgo talks openly about his salary in 'TardeAR': "I can't make ends meet"

The arrival of TardeAR on the grid last September marked the return of Ana Rosa Quintana to the afternoons more than 18 years after the end of Sabor a ti. In the Antena 3 magazine show, the Madrid presenter was in tandem with Antonio Hidalgo, who is now one of her regular collaborators on Telecinco's evening show.

The legendary co-presenter thus returned to television, although his appearances are very punctual and intermittent, lasting just a few minutes a week to comment on viral content on social networks and the internet. So much so, that Hidalgo has allowed himself to be ironic about his sporadic interventions in TardeAR and the money he earns thanks to them.

He did it this past Thursday, when the presenter returned to the screens of the Unicorn Content space to talk about some of the biggest botches that have been made in the construction sector. To do this, he appeared dressed in a reflective vest and worker's clothing.

During his speech, which lasted barely ten minutes in the program's rundown, Antonio Hidalgo used irony and joked about changing his professional sector, devoting himself to bricklaying in order to have an alternative job.

"You know that I charge here for a minute's intervention and I don't make it to the end of the month," he openly told Ana Rosa, alluding to a low salary as a result of his little time on the air. Something that the presenter herself confirmed: "And little...", she assured in response to her collaborator.

In this way, although the comments were made in a humorous way, the Murcia presenter hinted that he would not be happy with his role in TardeAR, nor with the salary he receives for this job. In addition to alongside Ana Rosa Quintana, Hidalgo has also occasionally appeared in Fiesta, the weekend show presented by Emma García.
