An emotional Joaquín Prat remembers his father after the death of Pepe Domingo Castaño: "They will be doing celestial radio"

In a month marked by the death of great stars of television and the artistic world, the communication world is mourning the death of announcer Pepe Domingo Castaño, at 80 years of age. Last Sunday, the legendary voice of 'hello, hello!' He said goodbye forever after several health problems that he suffered.

A throat infection and an intestinal infection ended in sepsis that spread to his bloodstream. Despite having gone to the hospital, they could not prevent the serious infection from triggering multiple organ failure and her subsequent death.

Given this, there have been many reactions and expressions of affection for the presenter. The program Vamos a ver has connected live with Pepe's brother, Susé Castaño, and has not forgotten to mention Joaquín Prat's father. Something that has generated great emotion for the presenter.

"And today I remember your father. They both appreciated each other so much...", Susé began to relate. And she has not hesitated to explain an anecdote about him. "In a live broadcast on the SER channel (...) your father stares at me and pulls out an open knife. You can't imagine the fright your father gave me. I jumped in the chair and almost fell. That was your father, another wonderful person," he added.

After these words, Joaquín Prat wanted to remember his father. "They were the reflection of a wonderful time and the reflection of the passion for work. Passion, which is what moves the world. They were two truly passionate people," said the presenter.

"Two radio giants who have left us. Joaquín, a hug, and let's see if there is an opportunity to meet and greet each other," answered Pepe Domingo Castaño's brother. "Hopefully, I hope so. They are doing celestial radio. They and many others who have left us. They must have a good time there right now," Prat added, visibly excited.

And these have not been the only reactions to the death of Pepe Domingo Castaño. His niece, Cristina Castaño, has been very saddened by what happened. "You left this morning and left a huge void in the Castaño Family. How honored to have been able to celebrate you on your 80th birthday, and how honored you have done all of us Castaños for having made our last name synonymous with talent," she wrote the actress on her Instagram account.

For his part, his friend Paco González is clear: "I have a personal panic about Tuesday, which I suppose will be the first program I have to do, and looking at that chair and it being empty. I have done it more times, but He was (...) I will no longer have a single advertisement for Pepe, nor a game with Pepe at my side, nor a program with Pepe at my side, nor a dinner...".
