Alexia Rivas has ended her relationship with Mikel Lezama after six months together. The journalist confirmed the news in Fiesta in front of her colleagues, revealing that both have decided to separate after having a conversation about the future of their relationship. According to the collaborator of the entertainment magazine, her relationship with the PP councilor "has not materialized".
The journalist revealed what happened in front of the spectators: “There has not been a compelling reason. (...) When you meet a person everything is beautiful, but you don't really know him”. The influencer did not want to delve into what happened out of respect for her ex-partner, making it clear that she is still fond of him, but she has taken the opportunity to clear up doubts.
Despite the fact that the break took place a few weeks ago, she has not decided to go public until now: "Now I am calmer, I did not want to say anything. He is immersed in a political career, it is not a dish of good taste to talk about this ", says the one from Ponferrada.
Rivas and Lezama had been together for half a year, although the possibility of resuming the relationship does not seem to exist: "Schedules have influenced, he lives in San Sebastián and I live in Madrid," adds the journalist, who has not been able to bear the distance between them.
Her partner, Aurelio Manzano, demanded that Rivas tell the truth on set, since her sources assure her that "things did not end well", to which the collaborator refuses. “One door closes, but another opens. I'm fine, happy and what matters is that. I haven't cried these last few weeks," admits a calm Rivas.
The relationship between Rivas and Lezama began in November after they met in a bar. As the influencer has revealed, being hunted by the media together with the politician accelerated their relationship, causing both of them to have to define their dynamics due to public pressure. Even so, she sends a message of gratitude to her ex-partner: "It's not easy, she has lived up to it and I want to thank her."
