A single man from 'First Dates' is full of praise for his date and ends up causing his rejection: ''It's not normal''

The most popular and most romantic restaurant on the small screen, First Dates, opened its doors for another week. On Monday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners willing to give their all in their attempt to win over their date. But despite their efforts, many end up leaving the program the same way they arrived, alone.

One of the dates of the night was the one starring Matías and Fina. The 63-year-old Catalan bachelor began his presentation by confessing to being a very happy person. ''I want to share that joy with a traveling companion,'' he stressed. After going through several relationships, without much success, the single man confessed that he was in the perfect moment to find the woman of his life. ''I don't want an obese woman. "She has to be feminine and with good breasts," he confessed.

His date was going to be Fina, a 64-year-old Catalan, who after her divorce managed to find herself. ''I have overcome many obstacles, anxieties, blockages, fears and today I continue to overcome them,'' she declared. In addition, the single woman claimed to be willing to "try everything." The first impression among the singles was very mixed. While the bachelor had a crush on Fina, she was surprised by the amount of compliments she could say. ''I have seen eyes that transmit such a beautiful light that they have dazzled me, I give it a 10.5,'' he commented. ''She has a lot of talk,'' she said.

After learning about their places of residence, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where they began the evening with another round of praise from Matías. ''He is a good stand-up comedian, he is very funny, but I found that he invaded me too much,'' the Catalan said. ''I always have a joke because I'm from Andalusia, that's in my genes. "I'm one of those people who compliments and makes people laugh," explained the bachelor.

But despite her attempts to praise the bachelorette, Fina was increasingly uncomfortable with the bachelor. Furthermore, Matías confessed that he was tired of loneliness and that he needed to find someone special. ''I don't feel old enough at my age to say I have to find someone out of necessity,'' she said.

In the final stretch of the evening, Marías' compliments and praise continued to be the main protagonists of the dinner. Something that was overwhelming the single woman. ''Cupid has had a very good crush, I didn't think he would find such a pretty woman,'' commented the bachelor, who moments later insisted to the single woman with her compliments. ''You look good. You're better than Jabugo's ham,'' he told her.

''I found it too exaggerated (...) I found a stand-up comedian, a person who makes you laugh but you can't spend all day laughing. It's not normal, I've seen him overacting,'' she asserted. Therefore, in the final decision there were no surprises and Fina rejected Matías because "things had been missing."
