A 'First Dates' bachelor ruins his date with his surprising comments: ''He's a bit pedantic''

Finding love is not easy in our busy days. For this reason, many people decide to appear on the most popular dating show on the small screen in the hope of finding someone who is really worth it. However, going to First Dates is not a guaranteed success, and many are truly disappointed.

Two of the stars of the night were Camilo and Rosa. The 64-year-old bachelor from Madrid arrived at the restaurant with a bouquet of flowers for his date. ''I don't want to sound pedantic,'' he began by saying. He wanted to meet an authentic woman, with personality and inner beauty.

His date was Rosa, a 56-year-old single woman of Australian origin who was eager to fall in love again. ''Prince Charming is for Disney princesses because the ones now are all faded,'' she confessed. The first impression between the singles was normal, but both were pleasantly surprised with their respective gifts.

After exchanging their first words, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where they began the evening talking about Australia. And the bachelor had been so fascinated by Rosa's origins that he couldn't stop asking her things about the country.

However, the bachelor's intensity with the topic made the single woman angry. ''He seems a bit smart to me, he was trying to catch me (...) More than on a date, I felt like I was in a test questionnaire,'' she said.

The date progressed and Camilo could not hide his happiness at meeting the single woman. ''I liked Rosa because I see her as sincere and a good person,'' he asserted. A feeling that had little to do with the one that was being born inside Rosa, that he no longer knew how to indirectly tell her that they could only be friends. ''I like white roses, they are those of friendship,'' she said. ''I hope to give you white roses and then move on to red ones,'' the bachelor said.

Regarding what they were looking for in the program, Camilo confessed that he wanted to find a travel companion with whom he could live. For her part, Rosa assured that cohabitation was not part of her plans. ''Camilo is in a hurry to find a partner and I am one of those who goes slowly,'' she stressed. ''I don't like wasting time, especially at our ages,'' he explained.

In the final stretch of the evening, the woman from Madrid was clear that Camilo was not the man of her life because he was too old for her and because he seemed "a little pedantic" to her. Shortly after, the couple moved to the program's booth, where they tried to get closer through dance without much success. Therefore, in the final decision, Rosa rejected the bachelor unceremoniously.
