Dua Lipa has not only become one of the most well-known and relevant music stars on the international scene, but she also declares herself a travel lover. The singer spends so much time on planes from one place to another that her own fans joke that she doesn't have a fixed home to go to. And these days she is in none other than Barcelona.
The artist has arrived in Barcelona just after spending a weekend in Madrid to meet again with one of her favorite people: Pedro Almodóvar. And she has been walking through the Catalan streets when a fan has not hesitated to ask for a photograph of her, to which she has curiously refused.
"You have three seconds to tell me if you want us to ask for a photo or not," the Dua Lipa fan's friend is heard saying. "It doesn't matter if it's not, you were sad, but you didn't miss a photo with Dua Lipa," she continues. And in the video that she has posted on her social networks, the girl seems somewhat confused about whether or not she is the singer. It seems that she did not expect to find him in Barcelona.
Such was his indecision that he decided to compare the tattoos on his arm with some photographs of the artist, coming to the conclusion that it was indeed her. And although she couldn't take the long-awaited photograph of herself, she was more than satisfied.
"I saw a video of Dua Lipa walking through the streets of Madrid and I said how great it would be to meet this woman," the fan said in another publication. After this, she explained that while she was in a restaurant she saw a black van cross the street from which "a beautiful woman got out holding a boy's hand and they started walking very quickly down Enric Granados." At that moment, she knew that she was the singer.
Therefore, both she and her friend did not hesitate to search location by location until they found it. "She told me that she would not take the photo, but in the most tender way, with her sacred Barbie face, without makeup, beautiful, divine, regal, and she told me 'sorry, I'm not taking photos on this trip, but I'm delighted to know you,'" he revealed.
Given the singer's refusal to take photographs, there have been many on social networks who have disfigured this gesture. However, the fan herself has come to her defense. "You made my day, I love you. I don't understand why people are throwing so much hate at him saying that he should have taken the photo with me. For me, the response he gave me was genuine," she said.
And the girl has perfectly understood Dua Lipa's desire to go unnoticed in Barcelona and live a few days with her boyfriend, Callum Turner. Even so, she will keep this memory for a lifetime.
