The most romantic space on television reopened its doors one more night. On Tuesday's show, the presenters welcomed different diners, who showed up to First Dates with the aim of finding their better half. But going to television does not guarantee leaving hand in hand with the perfect partner.
Two of the protagonists of the night who experienced this situation were Natxo and Vera. The 44-year-old Basque bachelor arrived at the restaurant claiming that a Basque man met certain characteristics. ''Noble, big, strong and respectful,'' he commented. But despite being in love with his land, the bachelor was currently living in Sabadell. In love, Natxo confessed that he had had several stable relationships and that one of his future plans was to be a father.
His date was going to be Vera, a 30-year-old single woman of Russian origin, who considered herself a very beautiful and attractive person. ''I am very happy with my face, for example,'' she confessed. She wanted to find a special person with whom she could start a family. As soon as he crossed the doors of the restaurant, the bachelor fell in love with her. ''I found her to be an incredibly attractive person,'' he stated.
''He is a very masculine man, he has very pretty eyes,'' she declared when she saw Natxo for the first time. After learning about their places of residence, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where the evening was going to begin. Vera said that she had been living in Barcelona for 9 years and that she still did not master the Spanish language very well. Furthermore, the single woman left the bachelor speechless by confessing that he painted pictures of dogs. For his part, Natxo assured that he had never painted, but that he would be willing for Vera to teach him.
At one point, Vera said she was trying to find "her man." ''I believe that the correct couple should be that each one has their own path, but that both can have things in common and that they end up next to each other,'' she asserted. ''Not to the side, the man in front,'' she answered. And Vera was very aware of Russian values and ideals in a relationship. Something that clashed with the bachelor's opinions. ''He has spoken to me about a type of relationship that I think is a bit retrograde and I do not share,'' she stated.
In the final stretch of the date, Natxo said that water and sex were two of the things that gave him the most happiness. ''It's okay, we all like sex,'' she said. Moments later, the couple moved to the program's booth, where they had the opportunity to share more moments alone.
In the living room, the singles were playing a game of darts and fate decided that they should kiss. But the single woman was very reluctant and she avoided giving the bachelor a kiss at all costs. ''I think it's a pretty ugly gesture because it doesn't imply anything sexual for him to kiss me on the cheek,'' he asserted. But Natxo did not give up and tried again to get a kiss from Vera. But his mission failed again the moment the bachelorette threw a dart at him. ''I don't understand Spanish very well,'' he said, laughing. Therefore, in the final decision there were no surprises and both were rejected.
