The most romantic restaurant on television has started 2024 with great dates between different diners from all over the world. On Tuesday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed several single men and women, who decided to show up to First Dates with a long list of resolutions for the new year, among which "find love" stood out.
One of the dates of the night was the one starring Pablo and Silvia. The 45-year-old from Burgos arrived at the Cuatro space ensuring that one of his great passions was music. Pablo confessed that he had had a relationship for 15 years and since then he had not found love again. ''I have never considered myself attractive and perhaps that is the basis of the problem,'' he declared.
His date was going to be Silvia, a 47-year-old from Madrid, who considered herself a very traditional person. The first impression between the two was not very good. ''She seemed good to me, but not for me,'' said the bachelor. ''Physically I'm not attracted to him, he's not my type. He is a tall, dark boy, but his physique... I like them younger,' she asserted.
After learning about their hobbies and places of residence, the presenter accompanied the couple inside the restaurant, where the evening began. There, singles discovered that they would have few things in common, like music.
''I like everything, but especially house,'' declared Silvia. ''When she said she liked house music I said I'm leaving here running. "I don't tolerate it," he said. Furthermore, the woman from Madrid claimed that rock and heavy metal were styles of music that she never listened to. A confession that distanced the couple even more.
The date progressed and the singles did not seem to be getting along on any topic. Silvia said that she was a very sociable person and that she always had many plans. ''I haven't gone out in a long time,'' he confessed. ''That's because either he's not very sociable or he finds it difficult to relate and I need to be with someone who likes to relate to the same level as me because otherwise it's a problem,'' Silvia asserted.
In the final stretch of the evening, the singles opened up about their tastes in sexual relationships. Silvia surprised her date by confessing that one of her sexual fantasies was domination and submission. ''Nothing suits her, I don't see her with vinyl and tight leather,'' Pablo commented. ''I like everything that comes out of the conventional,'' she said. In the final decision, the couple's destiny was more than clear and both refused to have a second date.
