A bachelor from 'First Dates' mercilessly criticizes his date for not having the job he expected: ''He doesn't have the same culture that I have''

New installment of the most romantic program on television, First Dates. On Wednesday night, viewers were able to enjoy different dates between several diners, who came to the Mediaset space in the hope of finding their better half. But many times the program team does not get it right with the union between singles and in the end they end up being greatly disappointed.

Something that Enrique and Celia experienced firsthand. The 69-year-old bachelor arrived at the restaurant claiming to be "not an attractive or handsome man." ''But I do like to be dressed up,'' he declared. He considered himself an “all-terrain” man because he had done many things throughout his life. He now had a much quieter life, although he confessed that he wanted to continue teaching karate classes.

His date was going to be Celia, a 62-year-old single woman from Valencia, who confessed to being a very hard-working woman for having raised her five children. ''And I don't regret anything,'' she declared. The first impression among the singles was very different. ''She is a woman with beautiful eyes,'' he declared. But the single woman had been greatly disappointed when she met Enrique.

After exchanging their first words, Laura Boado accompanied the couple to their table, where the evening began. Once there, the singles opened up about their previous marriages. The bachelor said that his wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and her only purpose was to keep an eye on her until two years ago, when he died. Since then, Enrique had been quite depressed, but now he was willing to open his heart to him. ''He's had a very bad time and he's not moving forward,'' she commented.

For her part, Celia said that she had had two great relationships and was now more than ready to start a new chapter in her life. ''If you don't have a healed heart, you can't open yourself to anyone,'' she asserted.

At one point during the evening, the singles were talking about their favorite sports. The bachelor confessed that his great passion was martial arts and writing. ''I have always liked the classics, the golden age and Russian literature (...) I haven't read much, but I could get close to a thousand books,'' he said. On the other hand, Celia had always been immersed in the world of hospitality. Something that the bachelor didn't like at all. ''He doesn't have the same culture that I have, he couldn't satisfy me,'' he said.

In the final stretch of the date, the singles noticed that they had no connection at all and that theirs was going to remain a simple friendship. Therefore, in the final decision both rejected each other, but not before staging a small confrontation full of darts. The bachelor reproached Celia for her attitude during her evening and she claimed that the bachelor was "little thing for her." ''He is a good person, but I see myself as too powerful for him,'' the single woman stated.
