The TecnoCampus presents the strategic plan that sets its objectives with a view to the year 2027

The TecnoCampus has presented its "Strategic Plan 2027", approved by the Board of Trustees of the Fundació Mataró-Maresme. This document has been prepared with the participation of various park agents in a participatory process. This process began at the end of last year and in which companies, students and other interest groups participated. The result has been reflected in a document accessible through the website plaestrategic2027.tecnocampus.cat.

The plan is structured around three main axes that mark the lines of work of the institution for the coming years. One of the most ambitious challenges that arise is the implementation of Vocational Training through training cycles. The idea is that these cycles are a subsequent route of entry to university degrees, so they will focus on the same themes: health, business, technology, audiovisuals and video games.

Strengthening the link with Pompeu Fabra University, reinforcing the singularity of entrepreneurship as the guiding thread of the park's activities or seeking recognition of the singularity of the TecnoCampus model in higher instances such as the Generalitat to obtain financing are some of the challenges that arise.

Last Friday, June 30, the first public presentation of the plan was held before the park's business community, made up of more than 100 companies. The mayor and president of the TecnoCampus, David Bote, closed the event by noting that "the plan aims to help companies, citizens and the social fabric to face the challenges of the future." The Councilor for Business and Employment, Sergi Morales, pointed out that "the alliance between the various agents that are part of the park will be crucial in the coming years", in which the TecnoCampus "faces a new cycle of growth", according to its director. general, Josep Lluís Checa.

The event included a presentation by the consultant Xavier Marcet, who has participated in the preparation of the plan. Marcet assured that institutions such as the TecnoCampus will be fundamental in defining what he has called "learning ecosystems", which will be differential in a time of boom of new technologies such as artificial intelligence.

With this presentation, the TecnoCampus positions itself as a benchmark in strategic planning and promotion of technological development in the Mataró-Maresme region, showing its commitment to training, entrepreneurship and innovation as fundamental pillars for economic and social growth in the next years.
