More and more luxury car brands want to have, in their catalogue, bicycles almost as exclusive as their cars for their most active customers. These two-wheeled vehicles with pedals have the same elegance and exclusivity as the rest of their products. Can you imagine the owner of a Huracán, an Aventador or an Urus pedaling? And it is that the last to present its recent creations for the cycling world has been the firm of super sports cars based in Sant'Agata Bolognese: Lamborghini.
The Exploro Racemax was born to accompany the launch of the spectacular Huracán Sterrato in 2022 and for the first time combined the experience of the prestigious manufacturer 3T in the design of gravel bikes, with the style and high performance of Lamborghini. After the success of that bike, two new models inspired by their supercars are now being born.
The result of the collaboration between these two brands that share values such as tradition and innovation, the Racemax x Automobili Lamborghini and the Strada x Automobili Lamborghini land as authentic works of art on pedals. Both are made in Italy with attention to detail and are designed with high-end materials and components, with special emphasis on electronic gear changes and carbon fiber rims.
The Racemax gravel bike is a lightweight model made with various carbon components, in addition to the aforementioned rims. Created to enjoy adrenaline in the mountains, it is available in exclusive Lamborghini colors called Verde Selvans and Oro Elios.
For its part, the Strada has been designed to offer impressive aerodynamics without sacrificing comfort. Thus, while the front of the vehicle offers speed, the rear has been designed to stand out for its comfort, with a seat post integrated into the frame. This model is available in the colors Apodis Orange and Pasifae Violet, also drawn, like the previous ones, from the color palette of Lamborghini supercars.
Both models come in different frame sizes such as 51, 54, 56 and 58 and are only produced on demand, taking around 12 weeks to build and deliver to their new owner. Although orders can already be placed, the first units of the Racemax and the Strada will begin to be distributed from the month of September.
The price of these alternatives amounts to figures that equal those of some second-hand cars. For example, the Racemax is priced at 9,899 euros and, for its part, the Strada costs 8,999 euros.
