The agents of the Traffic Group of the Civil Guard also verified that a hundred of the school transport vehicles presented deficiencies in the service and emergency doors, as well as in their activation devices and another 29 were denounced for not having the updated Technical inspection of vehicles.

As regards the mandatory signage that this type of vehicle must carry, 189 of the controlled vehicles did not carry the corresponding V-10 school transport sign, a percentage that has also grown by 3 points compared to the last campaign , and another 19 lacked the light device with an emergency signal.

In addition, 41 drivers were denounced for not having a person in charge of caring for minors on board the bus when appropriate and another 24 for excessive driving time or reduced rest time.

As regards the breathalyzer controls, none of the professional drivers tested on those days tested positive; This was not the case with drugs, since the agents denounced 14 of them for driving under the influence of these substances.
