The Corvette that you will fall in love with at first sight costs more than half a million euros

If you are a fan of the most genuine classic cars, you will surely know some of the models born on the other side of the pond that were not only able to impress in their day but continue to do so today. There is no doubt that one of them is the one you can see in the photographs, which is none other than the 1967 Chevrolet Corvette.

This particular unit has an important peculiarity. And it is a practically “new” car, at least in part, despite being 57 years old. Obviously, time has passed, but we mean that this is a car that has barely been driven since its manufacture. Surprisingly, its odometer only reads 13 miles (that is, almost 21 kilometers).

Aside from this information, the Corvette has other interesting aspects such as an attractive red exterior finish with numerous chrome details. It integrates wide tires associated with attractive rims that reinforce its powerful image. Do not overlook the location of the exhaust lines, which are mounted on both sides of the vehicle.

Continuing with the review of the characteristics of this irresistible American classic, it is worth noting that it has a tubular chassis and that under the hood it has an extraordinary V8 engine capable of generating a power of no less than 570 HP. This mechanics is geared to a Tremec six-speed manual transmission.

The attention to detail is enormous both outside and inside this Chevrolet. In the cabin, black is the dominant tone. The vehicle features leather upholstery with contrasting red stitching to subtly associate the interior with the exterior color. It also has a three-spoke steering wheel and a new vintage-style air conditioning system and a Dakota instrument panel with digital touches have been installed.

These last two elements demonstrate, therefore, that the vehicle has been updated and that it has received some modifications that modernize it with respect to its origins. The goal has been to combine the beauty of classic aesthetics with touches of more current technology. In this sense, it should be noted that the braking system has also been optimized.

As is to be expected with such an exclusive vehicle, this Chevrolet from almost six decades ago is not within the reach of any budget. And it is currently valued at a price of around 510,000 euros. It is true that for that price you can also purchase impressive modern supercars, but none of them will have the history, the personality and that touch of nostalgia that the 1967 Corvette conveys.

If you want to enjoy this American model in greater detail, you just have to take a look at the video that accompanies this article, starring a unit very similar to the one in the photographs.
