Although the results do not agree, Tesla has set out to dominate the electric car industry. The American manufacturer's latest bet is the new Model 3 Performance, the most powerful version to date. It has a power of more than 460 HP and an improved range of 528 kilometers, an issue that always worries buyers.
Elon Musk's company knows that its competitors are growing in the sector, so it has decided to launch this new version of its sedan for 55,990 euros in Spain. The vehicle will be available from the second half of the year.
According to the manufacturer, among the new features is the improvement of the chassis, high-performance brakes and Track Mode Tesla, a system designed for stability control, traction control, regenerative braking and cooling systems.
Tesla also boasts adaptive damping technology, a novelty in the Model 3 Performance. With it, the driver will be able to control everything through the internal software and is integrated into Tesla's vehicle dynamics controller (VDC).
The design has also changed. It includes new front and rear bumpers, which are complemented by the rear diffuser and carbon fiber spoiler to optimize lift balance and high-speed stability. Inside, the new seats have improved cushions and side bolsters, which provide more lateral support and during dynamic driving. They can also be heated and ventilated.
Although the vehicle will be available from the second half of the year, some privileged people can already enjoy the Tesla sedan, according to some social media users.
The electric car was photographed last February in Valencia by @dessiewisley, who published a video on social networks showing several of them stored in a garage, waiting to tour the streets of the city.
