Jonas Vingegaard repeats as a great figure of The Great Road this 2024

Team Visma-Lease a Bike, which will return led by the current winner Jonas Vingegaard, will be the great attraction of O Gran Camiño 24, the Galician round that will start in A Coruña, at the foot of the Tower of Hercules, and will conclude in the top of Mount Aloia, in Tui (Pontevedra), with a double pass.

Jonas Vingegaard repeats as a great figure of The Great Road this 2024

Team Visma-Lease a Bike, which will return led by the current winner Jonas Vingegaard, will be the great attraction of O Gran Camiño 24, the Galician round that will start in A Coruña, at the foot of the Tower of Hercules, and will conclude in the top of Mount Aloia, in Tui (Pontevedra), with a double pass.

The third edition of this “Camiño” will start on Thursday, February 22, with a 15-kilometer individual time trial starting and finishing from the Tower of Hercules, the only Roman lighthouse still in operation, declared a World Heritage Site in 2009.

The next day, the peloton will travel the Camiño de Lugo, starting in Taboada and arriving in Chantada, a stage with 151.1 kilometers and 3,000 meters of elevation gain that will pass through 9 municipalities of the Camiño de Inverno through the Ribeira Sacra.

The longest stage of this year's edition will be on Saturday and will cover a total of 19 municipalities in Ourense. It will be 173.1 kilometers through the south of the province and 2,340 meters of elevation gain, starting in Xinzo de Limia and arriving at the foot of Ribadavia Castle.

O Gran Camiño 2024 will conclude with a queen stage in the province of Pontevedra, a route that will start in Ponteareas and will have its finish line at the top of the Monte Aloia Natural Park, in Tui.
