Young independentistas vandalize the headquarters of PSC, PP and Vox in Barcelona

Several members of the pro-independence youth platform Batec have vandalized the facades of the PSC, the Catalan PP and Vox headquarters with graffiti this Saturday, in a protest action on the day of reflection prior to the general elections with which they wanted to make visible their claim, the need to "stand up to the Spanish State".

The pro-independence youth group has publicized its action at the party headquarters with videos on social networks in which two activists are seen daubing the facades of the headquarters of the formations in Barcelona with paint.

As they explain themselves, the action is part of the 'We paint our faces in Spain' campaign, which aims to denounce and combat "the repression of the 78 regime", the "danger" of the extreme right of Vox and the "political and judicial persecution" of the independence movement.

Batec expresses that these actions are part of the response to the various cases of infiltration by the national police in the independence and social movements, such as the last known case in Girona uncovered by 'La Directa'.

"The Spanish state persecutes, imprisons and spies on us, and we will not sit idly by. We call on young people and society in general to respond to the existing repression and to that which will come with a possible PP and Vox government," the activists said in a statement.

In one of the videos released, two spokespersons for the platform assure that social movements continue to suffer "the heavy hand" of Spain and denounce that the right to freedom of expression and self-determination are "repressed".

In the video statement they hold the PP and PSOE responsible for the "repression" and warn of the "desolate" context of the extreme right gaining ground. For all this, they call for mobilization to "point out" the parties that in recent months have "tried and persecuted" and have "infiltrated" the lives of the independence movement.
