What happens when the poppies burst?

* The author is part of the community of readers of La Vanguardia

When the poppies open, pollinating insects such as bees, bumblebees come... Natural elements such as water or wind are also natural pollinating agents.

Insects feed on nectar and involuntarily carry pollen on their bodies. I have captured this series of images for Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia in Les Preses (La Garrotxa).

I start the sequence of photographs with the poppy opening or exploding.

In the second image a bumblebee arrives flying.

The third photo shows us how the insect prepares to enter the poppy.

In the fourth photo you can already see where the nectar is.

In the last image we only see a part of the bumblebee inside the poppy.
