This morning it was possible to see a spectacular glare at dawn on the Gavà beach. The explosion of color and the resurgence of the sky so bright reminded me of the beautiful and mythical song by Bruce Springsteen, The Rising.
That is why I dedicate this photograph from Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia to Springsteen and the E. Street Band, who are already in Catalonia to offer us their magic in two concerts, thus kicking off their 2023 European tour.
Even the former president of the United States, Barack Obama, the former first lady, Michelle Obama, and the director and producer Steven Spielberg will travel to Barcelona to attend the concert that Bruce Springsteen will give this coming Friday at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
The candilazo is a meteorological phenomenon in which the clouds in the sky show a wide palette of colors that goes from pink to the most intense orange.
As part of the phenomenon of scattering of sunlight, in the morning and afternoon hours, when the sun is closest to the horizon, the light that reaches Earth is soft tones between red and orange.
In a certain way, when this light passes through the clouds, it illuminates them and it could be said that it colors them with those shades.
