According to Vox sources to which Europa Press has had access, the events date back to the session of September 14, 2023. In it Valverde would have voted from the seat of the head of Education, Science and Universities, Emilio Viciana, who is not deputy since he was not on the PP list in the elections of May 28 of last year.
Vox has insisted that this circumstance was already reflected in the allegations presented by Monasterio in the process opened in February and directed by the popular Mercedes Zarzalejos, a doctor of law. This information, Vox denounces, "is false, since on up to four occasions, a councilor pressed the voting button from a seat that does not correspond to him without any consequence from the president of the Board." Faced with this situation, the president of the Assembly, Enrique Ossorio, called for order and the restoration of voting.
