Vox files a lawsuit against Pedro Sánchez and the members of the dialogue table for conspiracy

Vox has presented this Friday before the Supreme Court a complaint against the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and all the members of the so-called dialogue table with Catalonia for alleged crimes of conspiracy for rebellion, sedition, prevarication and embezzlement of public funds.

In addition, the president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has announced after registering this complaint that they plan to file appeals before the Constitutional Court to "invalidate" the final approval on Thursday in the Senate of the reform of the Penal Code, which repeals the crime of sedition. and lowers the penalties for embezzlement.

Precisely in the complaint this Friday, Vox requests urgent precautionary measures to agree on the "immediate suspension of the entry into force" of this legal reform.

"We are convinced and hopeful that when this lawsuit is heard, these crimes will once again be in the Criminal Code," Abascal said in front of the Supreme Court and surrounded by dozens of supporters, some of them with Spanish flags.

The complaint filed by Vox is directed against Sánchez, as well as against the president of ERC, Oriol Junqueras, and Juan Carlos Campo "in his capacity as Minister of Justice at the time the Royal Decrees granting pardons" were issued. those convicted by the process of Catalonia.

Also against all the members of the so-called dialogue table with Catalonia: the ministers Félix Bolaños, Yolanda Díaz, Isabel Rodríguez and Miquel Iceta, representing the Spanish Government, and the councilors Laura Vilagrà, Roger Torrent, Joan Ignasi Elena and Natàlia Garriga, by the Generalitat.

Likewise, Vox is suing the general secretaries of the PSOE and United Podemos parliamentary groups in the Congress of Deputies: Isaura Leal and Txema Guijarro, respectively.

"The dialogue table has been turned into a true conspiracy table," denounced Abascal, who recalled that with similar complaints they managed to "seat the coup plotters on the bench", alluding to the leaders of the process, who were finally convicted of sedition.

In his opinion, "there is not a single Spaniard who believes Sánchez's arguments to repeal the crime of sedition and reduce the crime of embezzlement", since "everyone knows what the intentions of the coup plotters are and how it will mislead the dialogue table", alluding to the holding of an independence referendum.

"We are not facing a coup that dynamits the Constitution in an instant, but rather a sustained coup over time that is taking unavoidable steps aimed not only at pardoning those convicted and eliminating or reducing crimes, but also at facilitating a future commission of crimes. crimes, that the State has no defense when some declare independence or when some try to partially or totally repeal our Constitution", he added.

On the other hand, Abascal has said that they are still working on the presentation of a motion of censure against Sánchez, although he has still not announced which alternative candidate they will present as president of the Government, and has refused to be concerned about the CIS barometer published on Thursday , which lowers the result of Vox to 8.2 percent
