Visual challenge: Can you identify the five characters on the Cervera corbels?

* The author is part of the community of readers of La Vanguardia

In the building of the Paeria de Cervera, capital of the Segarra region, there are three balconies, which are supported by corbels, all of them facing the square. Today, I propose the third part of the game with another five of these characters.

I'm going to tell you who it is, but you must identify who is who in each of the five brackets to be able to successfully overcome this new edition of La Vanguardia's Readers' Challenge.

The five characters in this series are related to any of the attitudes that can occur in a market. Perhaps they are the five most difficult corbels to identify. To make it easier for you to solve the Challenge, I am going to reveal who they are but, then, you must identify them in the photograph.

1. Symbol of market goods.

2. Symbol of the salesman's oratory.

3. Symbol of the dangers of doing business.

4. Symbol of the headaches of the trade of a merchant.

5. Symbol of the camàlic, the carrier.

You have to look, of course, at the characterization of each figure to try to identify it. Has it been easy? Yeah? In any case, I'm going to give you the solution.

One of them is looking at the goods on the market. Another shows the language, an allegory of the seller's oratory to convince the potential buyer. Another has his hand on his head that symbolizes the troubles that come with being a good trader. Another shows us his teeth and symbolizes the possibility of losing them when it comes to doing business. Finally, the fifth is a camàlic, the person whose job is to transport heavy things. I have numbered each character so you can see who is who.

11. Symbol of the camàlic, the carrier.

12. Symbol of the dangers of doing business.

13. Symbol of the headaches of the trade of a merchant.

14. Symbol of the salesman's oratory.

15. Symbol of market goods.
